Since 1976, when Michael Feiner founded the firm that would become Feiner & Lavy, P.C., our goal has been to provide prompt, professional, and highly personalized representation at a reasonable cost. We have achieved that goal, and have earned a reputation for integrity and effectiveness by focusing our practice almost exclusively on immigration law. Michael Feiner began the practice of law in Israel in 1965. Over the past 30 years (until 2006), Mr. Feiner successfully obtained legal status in the United States for thousands of clients, from individuals to prominent high-tech companies and their employees. As AILA's (American Immigration Lawyers Association) NY Chairperson, Mr. Feiner used technology in innovative ways to maximize the organization's effectiveness. Today, our firm continues to be unique in our use of advanced technology to successfully serve our clients.

Yaniv Lavy is an established attorney in the U.S. Mr. Lavy earned his law degree from the University of East London, where he graduated with Honors. His credentials include the studies of criminal law and public international law. In addition to the practice of law, he has major experience in business and management.

Yaniv Lavy has been a member of the New York State Bar Association since 2003, the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2004 and is admitted to practice in the United States Courts (Southern District of New York).

Upon being admitted to practice law in the United States, he was a lawyer for a New York City law firm where he developed and managed the firm's Immigration Department. Due to his unique business skills and his proficiency in both English and Hebrew, he quickly became an asset to the firm. Thereafter, Mr. Lavy established his own firm, Lavy Law Associates, P.C., where he offered a full range of immigration services as well as criminal defense.

As a native of Israel, Mr. Lavy is a prominent figure in the Israeli market within the United States.

In 2006, Mr. Lavy merged his firm with the Law Office of Michael Feiner to create Feiner & Lavy, P.C. The firm is administered by the son of Michael Feiner, and continues in the tradition and spirit established over thirty years ago.
